| Precarious announce new series of masterclasses | |
| Hi from Precarious We've been busy touring all over the country and enjoyed seeing lots of you - thanks for all your support. You can still catch us in Monmouth, Liverpool or Plymouth before we finish the tour in Canterbury on 23rd November - sold out! See the tour page of the website for more details. We are pleased to announce the first few dates for our 2010 masterclass series which will all be held in the main dance studio at Bath Spa University (Newton Park Campus). Sunday 10th January 10:00 – 17:00 Sunday 24th January 10:00 – 17:00 Sunday 7th February 10:00 – 17:00 Masterclasses are open to all professional performers (dancers, actors), and students are also welcome to apply. The masterclasses offer an opportunity to train with Precarious, explore the company’s working practice and potentially become involved in future productions. The masterclasses will comprise a physical and vocal warm up, improvisation (including contact work) and exploratory workshop tasks. Participants will be expected to work in a highly physical manner and also to experiment with text, character and props. Cost: £60 (£55 for students) for three masterclasses £50 (£45 for students) for two masterclasses £30 (£25 for students) for one masterclass Please email admin@precarious.org.uk for more details or an enrolment form if you are interested in taking part. Open Space dance event in Bristol This is an exciting opportunity for dancers to come together and share ways we can make things better for dance in Bristol and the surrounding area.
